Understand numbers around the home with this free two-hour workshop. Presented by Skills & Learning Adult Community Education's Multiply Programme, you'll learn how to use numbers to complete common tasks around the house.

Amongst other things you'll be shown:

• How many tiles or paint you need when decorating
• How many fence panels or how much soil you need to buy for your garden or whether you can fit new furniture in
• How to work out what your household bills mean and how they are calculated
