Get To Know Your Device for Beginners – Five-week course to help you develop new digital skills using your own device, such as a smartphone or laptop. Discover how to unleash the true potential of your phone or personal computer.

Amongst other skills, learn how to:

  • Locate basic commands on your device
  • Communicate by using a chat app or text
  • Navigate your device interface to download and use apps
  • Select the best possible deal for a new device and data plan
  • Recognise different device interfaces

The course runs every Thursday from 10am-1pm from June 6.

Get To Know Your Device for Intermediates – Five-week course to show you how to further unlock the secrets of your own personal device. You’ll be shown new methods to get even more out of your smartphone or personal computer.

Learn how to:

  • Adjust settings confidently on your device
  • Communicate with friends and family on mobile apps
  • Use your device to send emails and manage online accounts
  • Search for device deals with online shopping
  • Improve confidence with different device interfaces
